Early Childhood classes

designed with our youngest artists in mind!

our Early Childhood art classes meet one day a week per semester,

and a grownup attends each class with their child.

The power is in the process! Join us for an open-ended, play-based toddler art class focused on the joy of squishing, building, arranging, mark-making and more! This class is designed to offer children meaningful, teacher-supported opportunities to explore art-making on their own terms. Grownups will be offered strategies for supporting their young artists as they explore different art materials each week.

Please note, this is not a drop-off class.

Semester A: $205*

What happens if I mix all the colors of paint together? Why does play dough squish out from between my fingers when I squeeze it? Can I make the same marks with my fingers as I can with a brush? Building on children's natural curiosity about the world around them, this class is designed to offer children meaningful, teacher-supported opportunities to investigate these questions.  Grownups will be offered strategies for supporting their young artists as they explore different art materials each week.

Please note, this is not a drop-off class.
